Luca Giacomo Schulte completed a degree in fine arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf/Münster (Germany). His installations were presented in several exhibitions in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Norway and Sweden.

Since 1992 he is artistic collaborator of the internationally renowned choreographer and dancer Raimund Hoghe. A new book of this work has been launched on April 5, 2013 in London: „Throwing the body into the fight“, edited by Mary Kate Connolly. http://thisisunbound.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_book_info&products_id=386

With „Rosenzeit - A solo for Ornella Balestra“ (2009) and „Joseph“ (2011) the Düsseldorf and Paris based artist is presenting his first complete works for theatre.

As a choreographer he aims at discovering the common denominator of dance and visual arts and seeks the original significance of these two realms of art. Thus his interest is in combining the two as one and redefining their initial meaning.

He was coach in the Solo Project 2011 at Art Stations Foundation in Poznan / Poland. www.artstationsfoundation5050.com/en/event/2011_06sol

His last production „Joseph“ is a piece for the Germany based African-American dancer Joseph P. Cooksey. Premiere on April 26, 2011, opening Festival Queer Zagreb http://www.plesnascena.hr/index.php?p=article&id=1290 and had the German Premiere on November 8, 2012 at Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf at the festival „20 Years - 20 Days“. www.raimundhoghe.com/festival.php

Raimund Hoghe did a performance, relating to objects placed in the space by Schulte. The music was songs by Mina, Mama Cass Elliot, Judy Garland, and Ravel‘s Boléro.
